Advent I: Hope in the Furnace

Be Amazed

Advent I: Hope in the Furnace
Scripture tells us the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Through this story we see how God’s providence and love for his people even during times of adversity. We also see this through the history and confessions of faith of the Anabaptist-Mennonite movement. Ken Bechtel will speak on Wanner’s connection to Schleitheim - the birthplace of one of Anabaptism’s founding confessions.

Advent & Christmas 2025:
“Be Amazed” invites us to notice the astonishing ways God shows up in the world - sometimes boldly, sometimes gently, always faithfully. Through stories of fire, dry bones, desert hope, and the Word made flesh, Advent becomes a season of wonder.
